The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating the rentals and signature events associated with the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds Event Center. The primary duties include facility coordination, client relations, event administration operations, and event planning... • Coordinates with appropriate County support staff to facilitate event operations and logistics including, but not limited to, equipment, food and beverage services, facility equipment and layout, ticketing, parking and traffic, and public awareness, to achieve the goals and objectives of the event and its customers. • Provides creative solutions in responding to customer’s needs and disputes, ensures that objectives are met, and courteous and efficient service is provided at all times. Work is generally within a standard office environment but will also include work in various facilities, around equipment, out of doors in various weather conditions and around livestock/animals.
