Our client is seeking an Events Coordinator to serve on the firm’s Events team based in Chicago. This person will provide support and assistance to best-in-class events including conferences, workshops, social events, board meetings, and virtual events. Responsibilities... • Schedule internal planning meetings and draft meeting minutes • Facilitate payment of all invoices and expenses • Prepare and facilitate written correspondence with internal and external contacts as required • Prepare all event materials • Create and manage invitation lists • and act as internal point of contact for event registrations • Support the management of Hotel Room Blocks as directed. Including, but not limited to, maintaining data and reporting, preparing communications, and serving as a point of contact • Coordinate event transportation arrangements and manage travel • Assist with sourcing venues as required • Arrange and support the execution of annual regional events • Arrange and support the execution of the company holiday party • Travel to off-site events as required • Support all event planning Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • 1 to 2 years relevant experience in event planning or administrative assistance/support • Thorough attention to detail • Time management, adaptability, and multitasking • Critical thinking and creative problem solving • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs
