The Event Coordinator requires high attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow within events. Responsibilities include: • Administrative support to the Event Sales and Planning Team • Organizing internal bookings • Conducting hotel tours • Answering phones while in the office and providing guidance to clients on behalf of Event Sales and Planning Team • Assisting Event Managers with incoming leads • Effective management of small guestroom blocks including the understanding of groups history and pick up performance with guidance from managers • Prepare group resumes and event orders • Positive collaboration with hotel departments and vendors • Educating customers about Hyatts planner technology • In-person customer point of contact during event execution • Actively identifying and recommending ways to enhance the attendee experience • Post event bill review and history reports • Generating reports Benefits available with this position: • Medical/ Dental/ Vision Insurance after 30 days!
