Event Coordinator

Our key initiatives include (a) facilitating the Idaho Coalition for Community Schools, leading the growth and development of the Community School Strategy throughout the state (b) leading findhelpidaho.org, which links individuals with free or low-cost programs in Idaho, and (c) making annual grant investments to an average of 35 area nonprofits working in alignment with UWTV goals and strategies. Goal: As the Events Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to secure philanthropic support to advance United Way’s mission. In cooperation with the development team, you will design and implement events and volunteer engagement strategies to engage current and potential donors helping communicate the positive impact of United Way and our partners to donor groups as well as the broader community. • Event planning and oversight for “Year of Action” drives and events • Report key metrics following all “Year of Action” drives and events • Process and manage in-kind donations received during community drives • Secure sponsorships to fund “Year of Action” Event • Coordinate curated and custom volunteer projects and tour requests for United Way corporate partners. • Connect with United Way community partners and internal programs to design and match strategic volunteer projects for UWTV’s corporate partners • Work collaboratively with program staff to design and match strategic volunteer projects for United Way’s donors, affinity groups and community stakeholders.
