Make a Difference Through Events That Save Lives Charleston Animal Society is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and mission-driven Event Coordinator & Administrative Assistant to support our Philanthropy and Marketing team. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, this position plays a key role in delivering successful events that generate fundraising revenue. Assist with planning and execution of signature fundraising events: Applause for Paws Gala, Paws in the Park, Lifesaver’s LuncheonCoordinate logistics, vendors, timelines, and event details.Support budget tracking, contracts, invoices, and RFP processes.Manage silent auction operations including tracking donations, item descriptions, photography, and auction software.Provide administrative support to event committees.Serve as Day-of Event Coordinator for the Lifesaver’s Luncheon.Third-Party & Community Events 3–5 years of experience in event coordination, administrative support, marketing, or nonprofit operations preferred.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; donor database experience (Raiser’s Edge or similar) preferred.
