Event Coordinator Assistant Set up/ Break down

Job Overview

College in Baltimore is seeking Event Set Up/break down specialists. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-4pm & Sat and Sun as needed. Must be able to start asap. Positions ends 06/15/2026 with possibility to be extended. Pay is $22hr and paid weekly. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and decorations.
Greet guests upon arrival and provide information about the event.
Answering phones when needed.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory of events equipment, materials, and supplies.
Monitor guest needs throughout the event, ensuring a positive experience.
Manage crowd control and assist with any inquiries or issues that may arise during the event.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
Maintain cleanliness of the event area before, during, and after the event.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Able to lift up to 30lbs.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Previous experience in hospitality or event management is a plus but not required.
A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on various roles as needed during events.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour
