Candidate should be ambitious and enthusiastic, and willing to help with a little bit of everything that is required for office and event operations. Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and a hunger for growth, who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed and is open and willing to learn about the intricate catering & events industry. This position will provide support to the Event Specialist/Director of Sales and the Director of Catering. Administrative Assistant will be responsible for daily office and financial administration, event planning and catering support, and sales assistance. Responsibilities and Duties: • Maintain client relationships • Perform administrative responsibilities including answering phones, replying to emails in a timely manner, managing event calendar, filing, mail, and general office organization • Track expenses and enter invoices, credit cards receipts, and petty cash • Create event spreadsheets for various purposes as needed • Format menus and proposals • Coordinate weekly meal deliveries • Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials • Social Media • Obtain and review vendor proposals and orders for events, request samples, etc.
