Event Coordinator - High Wire Distilling Co.

High Wire Distilling Co. is a pioneering, independently owned local distillery known for its Jimmy Red Bourbon, Hat Trick Gin, and other small batch spirits. We are actively seeking a full-time Event Coordinator to spearhead the sales and marketing of our event venue as well as coordinating our own marketing events. Duties Oversee marketing and sales of private event venue from liaising with regional event planners and potential clients to building organizational systems and closing event transactions Manage all aspects of each special event including finalizing vendors, identifying potential gaps in planning, and overseeing vendors through set-up, event time, and ultimate departure from facility Act as the main liaison with clients, vendors, staff, and volunteers on-site Monitor all clients and vendors to safeguard the manufacturing site while providing quality assurance and excellent customer service Develop familiarity with High Wire’s history, products, and operations in order to become an information resource to our guests Adhere and enforce all policies and procedures Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations of changes that would affect operations Develop a calendar of internal High Wire events to enhance the brand and Tasting Room Handle all coordination, setup, and breakdown for High Wire sponsored events Prioritize functions and shift priorities quickly including securing vendors for various events, organizing labor for event setup/teardown, creating event timelines, creating production schedules and running errands as needed Establish and maintain positive working relationships with fellow team members Maintain accurate sales productivity forecast, manage budgeted expenses, and recap information Other duties as assigned Skills A minimum of 2 years event planning experience Proficiency in executing a sales plan to meet or exceed revenue goals Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Consistently demonstrates principles of positivity, hospitality, and professionalism Advanced skills using Microsoft Office software Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights and weekends and holidays Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail Compensation commensurate with experience.
