The role of Event Coordinator for iMPAC (Institutes of Performing Arts and Culture) at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is a dynamic and central position, key to the success of numerous college and community events. The coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, creating seamless experiences for clients, performers, and audiences alike. This role demands a blend of administrative expertise, operational precision, and customer service acumen, as the coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for event-related inquiries, ticketing, and front-of-house operations. bachelor's degree (or higher) in business administration, public relations, or appropriate field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
demonstrated experience in event management of large-scale events, promotion of events, social media outreach, and/or customer service environment
computer proficiency, including familiarity with microsoft office suite and social media platforms
excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
