The Event Coordinator is a vital member of the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition team, tasked with the coordination and management of multiple fundraising events, educational programs, and organizational projects. Strong collaboration skills are necessary to work alongside peer coordinators and other team members in executing a Resource Development Plan that aligns with the organization's mission. As a member of a mission-driven non-profit, the Event Coordinator is integral in promoting the historical and recreational value of the Towpath Trail and securing the financial resources required to enhance trail connections, upgrades, and community programming. • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to work some evenings and weekends • Willingness to work in-person in downtown Akron • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
