Event Coordinator (Per Diem)

New England Air Museum Windsor Locks, Connecticut

The Event Coordinator works closely with the sales director, event setup staff, caterer, vendors, and event hosts to ensure that the agenda and event details are executed according to guest expectations. Additionally, the Event Coordinator is responsible for providing recaps and follow-up after each event. • Provide direction to vendors, volunteers and staff; manage their roles and movement during events. • Manage the setup staff and assist as needed in the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs and other event elements per the floorplan. Other Requirements • Ability to lift over 50 pounds • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours • Ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours, as needed
