Role is responsible for tracking assigned events, coordinating with vendor partners, following progress and outcome of events, supporting internal and external agents and sales leadership as needed, managing department budgets and expenses pertaining to sales events and sales related marketing expenses. • Event Coordination planning and oversight of all sales and educational events, community functions, organizational alignment with key partners in the respective community and market region, in communication with Sales Director and Sales Team. • Maintain active 240/215 health license in good standing as required by health plan policies related to role (required to earn commissions for sales support). • Events experience • Healthcare – Medicare experience a must • Valid drivers license • Reliable transportation • Must be goal and result driven (ability to meet quotas) • Attention to detail • Data entry Skills • Flexible schedule in order to meet with events during non-business hours • Excellent computer knowledge is required, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office • Must be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies • Excellent listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Strong decision-making, analytical skills • Must be self-motivated, organized and have excellent prioritization skills • Must be able to work well under stressful conditions • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment • Excellent customer service skills • Bilingual is a must What Set us Apart: Join Solis Health Plans as an Event Coordinator and become a catalyst for positive change in the lives of our members.
