Event Coordinator/Manager

Management of Texas at NRG Park and other venues/events S.A.F.E. • Assist in the scheduling and tracking of frontline staff for each game • Provide updates to the Managing Director as requested • Project staffing numbers and adjust operational execution accordingly • Ensure working function of all time-keeping resources • Operational Support • Conduct game-day briefings for Supervisors & Managers • Manage the inspection process at one of the inspection gates as directed by the Managing Director • Assist in the preparation and execution of an effective check-out process • Post-Event • Ensure that all Supervisors create a post summary detailing things that went well, as well as things that could be improved on • Collect, organize and scan all post-game reports, summaries, incidents, etc • Time Keeping System & Event Reconciliation • All events must be reconciled in the time keeping system within 72 business hours of the event’s completion • Track and monitor potential accrued overtime pay; before allowing a staff member to accrue overtime hours, clear the work shift with the Managing Director • Assist with S.A.F.E. Trainings, Interviews, etc. • Assist with the creation, updating and implementation of the training programs as requested by the Managing Director • Coordinate the execution of all training sessions • Review and edit content • Creation of schedule for those working each session • Ensure needed materials are prepared • Assist in content delivery • Work with other full-time managers to enhance and improve training programs where possible • Conduct portions of the training programs as requested by the Managing Director • Be able to answer staff questions and respond to staff concerns • Assist with Event Management • Work with the internal departments to develop staffing needs and schedule appropriately • Develop an appropriate pool of people that will ensure we have the right fit Team Members • Reconcile the previous day’s shifts within 24 hours • Complete the invoice on a weekly basis • Conduct audits on the staff • Work Schedule • General office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Office hours may be adjusted due to evening/weekend events, appointments or other obligations • Office Requirements • Answering emails • Check and return voicemails/emails no later than 24 hours of receipt • Be able to answer general payroll questions • Assist in receiving and replying to general staff inquiries as needed • Ensure that the S.A.F.E. standards outlined in the S.A.F.E.
