Event Designer Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, but not required You are the type of person that when you have a passion, all you want to do is share it with others and get them to join in on the fun! • Knowledge in fine-dining and the hospitality industry is second nature • With a warm personality you greet each guest with a big “Congratulations” on the start of their new journey, or a grand “Welcome” as if you are welcoming them into our home • This includes, but is not limited to: • Bringing in and receiving intakes of clients • Vetting client intakes by email, phone call, or in-person to see if they fit in our budget range • Informing potential clients of our process with honesty and transparency • Finalizing menu options, floor plans, linen colors, and light décor • Organizing venue walk throughs with client and venue managers • Creating day of event timelines, and communicating with all other vendors to assure you are on equal pages • Form load lists with accurate item counts and communicate lists to Catering Porters and Kitchen Staff • Day of events, you will meet at the shop to assure all necessary items have been loaded onto the truck • Lead service and kitchen staff at events through set-up, duration of party, and break-down • You can perform well under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills, to start and execute each event with the finest precision • Able to be on foot 10-12 hours at a time, and able to lift up-to 50lbs • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point • Familiarity with using CRM models • Attention to detail, ATTENTION TO DETAIL! • Be sure to follow up with clients at appropriate times throughout the planning process • With each guest, have an open-minded approach to be respectfully creative with customizing for your clients- we are here for them to tailor a unique experience and bring it to life!
