Special Event Decor is looking for a creative, motivated, and dependable individual with a passion for design to join our team.

You do not need years of event experience. If you have a natural eye for design, enjoy working with people, and are eager to learn, we are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Learn & Do

Meet with clients and conduct consultations
Help clients develop their event vision
Design weddings, social events, and corporate events
Select décor, linens, furniture, florals, draping, staging, and lighting
Prepare proposals and pricing
Assist with sales and client follow-up
Coordinate event details with our production team
Attend venue walkthroughs
Oversee and assist with event setup and styling
Manage events from consultation through final installation

Design experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications
Proven experience in event planning, design, or a related hospitality industry role with a strong portfolio of successful events
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for planning and presentation purposes
Skilled in managing event budgets and contracts with vendors to maximize value through negotiation and upselling strategies
Familiarity with event marketing techniques to promote events effectively and attract target audiences
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills for client consultations, team coordination, and vendor negotiations
Technical proficiency in event management software and CRM systems for seamless project tracking
Experience in banquet or catering settings is highly desirable to enhance guest services and hospitality delivery
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide teams efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service

Pay: $22.50 - $31.91 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
