Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Event Director to lead the planning, execution, and management of high-profile events that elevate our brand presence and foster client engagement. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills, a passion for event marketing, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders seamlessly. They will report to our office Managers Duties • Develop comprehensive event strategies that align with company objectives and target audiences • Oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering coordination, and contract negotiations • Manage budgets meticulously to maximize value while maintaining quality standards • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events effectively across various channels • Lead negotiations with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure favorable terms • Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown to ensure smooth operations • Deliver exceptional guest services by ensuring all attendee needs are met promptly and professionally • Implement upselling techniques during events to enhance revenue opportunities • Monitor event performance metrics and prepare post-event reports for continuous improvement Experience • Proven experience in event planning and management within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or banquet environments • Strong negotiation skills with vendors, venues, and contractors • Demonstrated success in marketing events to diverse audiences through innovative strategies • Excellent communication and organizational skills capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously • Familiarity with budgeting processes and contract management practices • Experience in fundraising or guest services is a plus • Knowledge of event marketing tools and hospitality industry standards is highly desirable
