Event DJ – Weddings & Special Events

We can train you on the gear, but we can't teach you to be friendly, reliable, or customer-focused. If you're great with people and have a positive, professional vibe—we want to meet you.

You'll serve as the DJ and emcee for weddings and special events—ensuring smooth, joyful, high-quality experiences from setup to teardown. Responsibilities include contacting the client 2–4 weeks ahead of time to collect event details, creating a personalized playlist no later than 48 hours before the event, arriving early to set up and sound check all DJ equipment, serving as the face of the event, reading the room and selecting music that keeps the vibe right, maintaining a professional and attentive presence at all times, providing excellent customer service to clients and vendors, and promptly tearing down and loading out gear post-event.

You must be exceptionally friendly, flexible, and communicative; comfortable speaking on a microphone in front of a crowd; reliable and punctual—especially on weekends; able to problem-solve calmly if tech issues arise; and able to lift/load audio equipment and perform physical setup/teardown tasks. Bonus if you know Top 40 music across multiple decades and genres, or have prior DJ, emcee, hospitality, or performance experience.

New DJs join through a short paid trial run after they finish their paid training. You will work a few real gigs where we make sure it's a great fit on both sides before you join the full roster.
