The contractor will collaborate with our Military Events Marketing Manager and represent our program at local and regional events aimed at families with children ages 0–12. Contractors manage their own schedules and work independently to fulfill project responsibilities, with support and coordination from our team as needed. Plan, coordinate, and host events designed for families with young children.Share information about Upwards’ childcare program at community events. Leverage strong networking skills to engage families and increase program awareness.Use personal experiences as a military spouse or family member to foster meaningful community connections.Attend military-affiliated events such as weekend briefings, Yellow Ribbon ceremonies, and family days.Coordinate with the Event Marketing Manager to identify and attend events in your region. Term: ~2 to 3 Months, project-based (with potential for extension based on event needs and geographic demands.)
