About the position Responsibilities • Assist Event Managers in the coordination and execution of special events for a range of corporate and association clients • Handle onsite needs as directed • Work with vendors • Research costing • Assist Account Managers with proposal and marketing activities • Work onsite at events as required • Assist with office management by taking client and general calls • Complete other projects as assigned Requirements • Currently enrolled in a college or university program • Interest in event planning and management • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Team player with a positive attitude Nice-to-haves • Previous experience in event planning or related field • Familiarity with marketing and proposal writing Benefits • Gain relevant industry experience • Opportunity to grow skillsets in event planning and client service • Work in a creative environment
