Serving as a key resource and point of contact, the coordinator oversees detailed planning stages including audio/visual production, security, custodial, and catering logistics for a variety of events held on campus. This role demands a unique combination of highly specialized technical skills and exceptional interpersonal abilities, ensuring that multiple projects are managed efficiently and successfully each day. Responsibilities include detailed client profiling, event description development, and contract negotiations for a diverse range of university-related and external functions. The position reports directly to the Director of Conference and Event Services and plays a vital role in upholding the university's standards for safe, well-executed events.
