Event Management Director

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Event Management Director to oversee the Catering Department in all duties, including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups, and directing temporary personnel. This role requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail to ensure proper service to clients during events. Key Responsibilities: • Supervises all catering events and operations • Collaborates with the Chef to create menus and improve logistics • Trains catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service • Tracks and monitors labor and food costs for each event • Communicates effectively with management, clients, customers, and associates Requirements: • 2 years of experience in food service, with at least 1 year in a management role • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, or related food service operations • Catering experience is required • ServSafe Certification
