The... • Assist the Events Department in coordinating various types of events, including but not limited to, meetings, banquets, conferences, sports, concerts and graduations.• Perform a variety of event day task as assigned by the Events Department.• Interact with Crown Complex staff when working on various events.• Learn the various aspects of event activities in order to field event related emails and phone calls.• Attend various meetings that will be beneficial in completing tasks.• Research special projects as suggesyed by management as a form of experiental learning.• Other assignments that will support the intern and their learning experience. Must be a college student or graduate student • Recommended for Sport Management, Management, or Hospitality Majors • Must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA • Financial compensation is available, but housing and transportation are the responsibility of the selected candidate• Availability to work 24 hours a week, including evenings and weekends • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products• Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing is required • Ability to work a flexible schedule • Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to function and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Must demonstrate a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Our success is rooted in creating environments that reflect and celebrate the diverse communities in which we operate and serve, and this is the reason we are committed to amplifying voices from all different backgrounds.
