The intern will work closely with the Event Services team to assist in the planning, organization, and execution of events held at the arena, ensuring each event runs smoothly from inception to conclusion. • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays as needed • Must have professional attitude and appearance • Must be able to pass background check • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur • Knowledge of principles and techniques of supervision, training, budget preparation and purchasing • Ability to move around the facility regularly • Ability to stand for long hours during events • Ability to work inside or outside of the building as needed by events
