We are looking for an Event Manager to drive attendee growth and manage hosted buyer engagement for the WTE Miami event. This role focuses on identifying, onboarding, and managing high-quality attendees and hosted buyers (travel advisors, tour operators and B2B travel buyers), ensuring strong participation and meaningful business interactions at the event. Key Responsibilities: • Lead attendee acquisition and hosted buyer recruitment for the event • Identify and engage relevant buyers, travel professionals, and industry stakeholders • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and networking to onboard qualified attendees • Manage the end-to-end hosted buyer journey (onboarding, communication, scheduling, and engagement) • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and industry partners • Coordinate with internal teams to align attendee targets and event objectives • Track and manage attendee data, pipelines, and conversion metrics • Ensure a high-quality attendee and exhibitor matchmaking experience • Provide regular updates, insights, and reports on attendee growth and engagement Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or related field • 4–8 years of experience in client engagement, sales, or operations • Experience in travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality, or events is highly preferred • Proven experience in outreach, relationship management, or customer onboarding • Familiarity with international markets or B2B environments is a plus
