Job Overview From weddings to birthday parties, corporate meetings to fundraisers, the Carnegie Arts Center is buzzing with activity! The schedule is flexible, depending on event needs, and will typically be 20-24 hours per week. Pay range is $20-23/hour. Working with customers to create contracts, invoices, and floor plans for a variety of rental events.Working with CAC staff and Board members to plan and coordinate in-house receptions, community outreach and fundraising events.Supervise all aspects of event setup and breakdown.Manage facility calendar for room needs and availability.Supervise event support staff and volunteers.Coordinate with caterers, florists, performers, and other vendors.Assist with event marketing efforts to promote upcoming events through various channels.Provide outstanding customer service by addressing rental inquiries promptly, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.Experience Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or fundraising environments.Familiarity with event marketing techniques and promotional strategies to boost event attendance.Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.Prior experience in a non-profit setting is desirable.Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
