You will be the driving force behind the public and organizational events that bring our vibrant downtown and the NEON District to life. Going beyond logistics, you will help set our overarching event strategy and build unforgettable experiences. What You’ll Do
Event Strategy & Leadership
Serve as the operational leader and primary point of contact for all DNC and NEON District special events.Assist in setting the overall event strategy, executing plans that directly align with and drive the DNC's mission forward.Research new technologies, trends, and opportunities to continuously elevate our event offerings.
Execute Signature Events
Act as the lead project manager, developing and executing comprehensive budgets and timelines.Produce, plan, and manage major signature events, including Holidays in the City, the Grand Illumination Parade, NEON Festival, and First Fridays.Lead the charge on the DNC Annual Meeting, member events, and the Work From Downtown Series.
Manage Logistics & Promotion
Handle all pre-event and on-site logistics flawlessly while building and maintaining strong vendor relationships.Partner seamlessly with the marketing team to ensure all events, programs, and member activities receive maximum visibility.Analyze event success, report on outcomes, and proactively identify actionable areas for growth.
Lead Volunteers & Community Programs
Oversee the recruitment, coordination, and training of all event volunteers and support staff.Coordinate and lead the DNC’s Downtown 100 young professionals’ program, fostering the next generation of downtown advocates.

Compensation
Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
