Event ManagerWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to join an Experiential firm in the New Haven, CT area. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work on a wide range of events, from very large sports events, tradeshows, to new product launches and everything in between. Position Overview: Event Manager Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including budget management, vendor negotiations, venue selection, and logisticsCollaborate with clients to understand their event goals and objectives, and develop event concepts and themesCreate event timelines and manage event production schedulesSource and manage event vendors, including catering, audio/visual, and decorOversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlesslyManage event budgets and track expensesDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partnersProvide on-site event management and troubleshooting as neededConduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future eventsStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning and managementQualifications: Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field4+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a highly creative Experiential firm or agency settingExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProficient in event management software and Microsoft OfficeFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for eventsExperience working in Adobe Suite, huge plus!As an Event Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of events and collaborate with a talented team.
