Event Manager

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Plans, organizes, and executes club-sponsored and private events, including golf tournaments, tennis and pickleball events, swim meets, poolside functions, social events, and holiday programmingDevelops event timelines, layouts, run-of-show documents, and staffing plansRuns the weekly BEO meeting; serves as a key communicator for property-wide event executionServes as the primary point of contact for members, vendors, and internal departments for assigned eventsOversees on-site event execution to ensure smooth operations, service excellence, and member satisfactionCreates events in ForeTees for members to register via website and appGenerates digital art for club eventsAssists the F&B Director with a strategic sales program designed to meet and exceed the club's sales and revenue goals in the areas of golf events, weddings, and social eventsWorks closely with Golf, Racquets, Aquatics, Food & Beverage, Facilities, and Member Services teams to align event goals and logisticsAssists the Food & Beverage Director in developing event budgets, pricing, and cost controlsTracks event revenue and expenses; ensures accurate billing and documentationMaintains event calendars, contracts, and post-event reportsEvaluates event success, provides recommendations for future improvements, and sends post-event surveysSources, coordinates, and manages vendors such as entertainment, rentals, décor, and audio/visualPerforms various F&B roles in the off-season, including but not limited to: manager on duty, server, hostess, and busser for large eventsManages F&B responsibilities in season, including but not limited to: scheduling banquet staff and conducting event training with servers and bartendersRegular and reliable attendance This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
