Event Manager

The Event Planning Manager is responsible for planning and executing a portfolio of Nokia events, including key global trade shows, customer engagements, and corporate programs. Lead planning and execution of global events aligned to business priorities Translate business objectives into clear event plans and delivery approaches Develop and manage pre-event, onsite, and post-event plans Drive global standards while enabling regional flexibility Recommend event participation strategies, investment levels, and delivery approaches based on business objectives, target audiences, and expected outcomes. Lead onsite execution and act as the primary escalation point Ensure operational readiness across all stages of the event lifecycle including contingency planning, risk management and compliance Proven ability to influence executive and senior stakeholders in a global matrix environment while developing event strategies that support measurable business and commercial objectives. Proven experience leading complex, large-scale high visibility global events in a corporate or B2B environment Extensive experience managing event logistics, operations, budgets, and vendor relationships Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and vendor contracts Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, priorities and stakeholders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a structured and professional approach for all stakeholders, customers and executives High level of organization and attention to detail combined with strong business acumen Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented in fast-paced environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Copilot, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Willingness and ability to travel as required
