Event Manager / Venue Sales & Operations ManagerVenue: The Vantage at Olympus The Event Manager represents the venue, manages the booking process, oversees venue-related details, and works closely with the client, owner, rental team, and Banquet Captain to ensure the venue is prepared for each event from start to finish. This is a full-time position and is expected to be mostly in person at The Vantage at Olympus. Respond to venue inquiries in a timely, professional mannerConduct venue tours for prospective clients, planners, vendors, and partnersEducate clients on venue capacity, rental windows, included items, rental credit, policies, alcohol requirements, vendor requirements, security requirements, and the booking processQualify leads based on event date, guest count, event type, budget, rental needs, and operational fitPrepare and send proposals, contracts, and booking documentsTrack retainers, payments, final balances, deadlines, and outstanding client itemsMaintain accurate event records in Go High Level, Goodshuffle, Google Workspace, and other approved systemsServe as the primary venue contact for booked clients leading up to the eventCollect event details including guest count, layout needs, vendor list, rental needs, timeline basics, catering, bar service, security, and load-in/load-out detailsCoordinate venue-related information with the Banquet Captain and internal team before each eventExplain Olympus rental options, rental credit, included items, upgrades, and outside rental approval requirementsAttend approved sales, networking, marketing, and industry events on behalf of The Vantage at OlympusBuild and maintain relationships with planners, vendors, corporate clients, nonprofits, photographers, and community partnersCommunicate maintenance, cleaning, facility, inventory, or operational concerns to ownershipHelp ensure events are properly staffed and internally preparedRequired Qualifications Experience in events, venue operations, hospitality, catering, rentals, sales, or client serviceStrong communication, follow-up, and organizational skillsAbility to conduct polished venue tours and confidently speak with clientsComfort discussing pricing, contracts, payments, policies, and deadlinesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and inquiries at onceProfessional presence with clients, vendors, planners, and ownershipAbility to work mostly in person at The Vantage at OlympusAvailability for some evenings, weekends, and event-dependent hoursComfortable using or learning Go High Level, Goodshuffle, Google Workspace, and related systemsAbility to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressureAbility to work independently and make sound operational decisionsComfortable working in a fast-paced event environmentReliable transportationAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts lasting 8–12 hoursAbility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours based on the event schedulePreferred Qualifications
