Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Manager at Modern Catering. The Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring the execution of high-quality events. This includes managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors and clients, and overseeing event staff. Qualifications • Event planning and management skills, including experience managing logistics and coordinating with vendors and clients • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and build relationships with clients and vendors • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards for event execution • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field is a plus • Previous event catering experience required • Knowledge of food & beverage etiquette • Clean driving record and ability to drive vans and box trucks and navigate to different venues • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet for up to 12 hours at a time • Must be able to work in high pressure scenarios • Must have strong communication skills and leadership skills • Punctuality and a positive attitude are an absolute requirement!
