This position organizes and supervises the successful implementation, operation, and completion of facility events (Conventions and Tradeshows) under the general supervision of the Event Services Director and is directly accountable to the Senior Event Manager. All Event Managers: • Maintain communication with clients to assist in planning and coordination of events. • Coordinate physical set-up requirements and service needs for clients. in public relations, hospitality/event management, customer service or related field; five to eight years experience in convention center or tradeshow event management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position directly supervises Assistant Event Coordinator staff and generally directs building staff during events (ranging from 20 – 100 full-time and part-time employees).
