House of Smith is currently looking for an Events Manager to oversee and organize private, public and internal winery events in addition to private client experiences. Job Description: • Management of the event planning timeline • Issue and review all event contracts and deposits as required • Prompt responses to client questions via email, phone calls, or in person meetings • Schedule in person or phone meetings with clients to manage event details and communicate changes or updates in a timely manner • Manage, update and keep event dates current on the calendar • Coordinates with Tasting Room Manager to properly staff on-site events, arranges additional support staff or vendors as required • Coordinate logistics of each event and manages vendors participating in onsite & offsite events • Communicates weekly with vendors and management to address upcoming event details • Create promotional flyers, emails and social media to support winery hosted events as applicable • Review winery event registration to ensure attendee goals are achieved while meeting capacity levels.
