Event Manager ยท Do you have experience planning and overseeing events? The Event Manager for Student Health & Well-Being (SHWB) executes and coordinates the facility reservation process for the Center for Health & Well-Being, and will oversee the receiving, scheduling, and confirming of over 500 facility reservation requests. This position will work collaboratively with the 5 units of SHWB, as well as student organizations and campus and community partners to manage event details, advise clients on appropriate facility uses, food and vendor policies, and provide availability and costs of event spaces. They will assist in the coordination and management of 200+ SHWB events and 10 large scale departmental signature events by ensuring that all necessary contracts are executed, appropriate insurance requirements are met, and any associated risk is mitigated and managed. This position will manage a team of students and staff to provide a superior event experience from set up to tear down.
