The Event Manager role at Oak View Group involves comprehensive management of all aspects of event planning and execution within the Enmarket Arena and the Johnny Mercer Theatre. This full-time position, offering an annual salary ranging from $44,000 to $59,000, requires overseeing the advance planning stages through to the end of each event. The Event Manager works closely with third-party partners to recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate front of house event staff, including security, guest services, medical personnel, police coordination, and parking management. Bachelor's or technical degree preferred
3-5 years experience in facility events and operations management or related field
Experience in public assembly industry in supervisory or management role
Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and consecutive days
Knowledge of budget preparation and control
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of crowd management, fire, and public safety regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
