Ideally, this candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and will be interested in growing to serve as our Director of Events in the future. For those detail aficionados out there, here's a snapshot of what we're looking for: • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in event management or related discipline • Proven experience as an event planner, designer and project manager • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills • Outstanding event planning skills • Flexible and comfortable with change • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced role • Effective communication skill in both written and spoken forms: excellent grammar and clear concise emails • Conflict management and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mentality • Ability to influence without authority • Technology savvy, MAC experience a plus • Polished professional who presents well to members and association leaders • Association management software and non-profit experience a plus • Travel 4-8 times a year for 4-7 days at a time required Ability to Commute: • Atlanta, GA 30339 (Preferred)
