It’s important to think of this position as an extension of the sales team in that the primary goal of events is to drive sales and revenue growth while extending the magazine’s brand into the community and increasing engagement with our audience. • Works in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to support magazine events through sales, marketing collateral, promotion and PR. • Identifies and manages all vendors related to the magazine’s events. • Working in tandem with the Marketing Manager, help to identify sponsor prospects and support the sales team with ideas, leads and prospecting. • Manage the event logs/budgets for each event and work closely with the business office/accounting to reconcile budget and expenses on all events in a timely and detailed manner.
