Event Manager

Sterling Affair is looking for a seasoned Event Manager What we are looking for: Certificates • Conduct site visits and produce catering rental lists • Manage and execute off premise events with catering staff • Work alongside culinary and events team to create custom event proposals and assist with seasonal menu changes and implementations • Strong knowledge of Floor Planning software programs • Gain knowledge of surrounding event venues, event sites and vendors • Effective written and verbal communication skills • 3-5 years’ Event Management experience in Off-Premise Catering industry • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve the highest service and hospitality driven standards • Ability to multi-task and tend to various projects simultaneously • Ability to work flexible hours • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a firm grasp on time management • Position requires some travel from our NJ based Catering and Events Center to various locations in the NY Metropolitan Area Experience: • Off-Premise Catering: 3 years (Required) • Events management: 3 years (Required)
