Event Manager

The Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed seamlessly and guests receive excellent service and hospitality. Responsibilities: • Direct staff upon arrival, through event set up, execution and breakdown ensuring that all standards and policies are being upheld • Greet all clients and vendors and coordinate the day's events in accordance with the pre-designed plan • Setting up client provisions in accordance with the clients wishes and rules of the venue • Communicate with kitchen and client on timing of event and all food service ensuring hot food is served in a timely manner • Oversee bar service and alcohol consumption of guests • Uphold the standards of each venue ensuring proper care and communicate any maintenance needs • Complete all end of event reporting Requirements: • Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests - smile and have fun • Experienced in event planning and management, with a focus on catering preferred • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and staff members • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and busy event environment Here is a snapshot of our amazing benefits • We care about work life balance and development of our staff though continuous education and professional growth. • Employee dining discount - 25% off food for you and a guest. • Employee Referral Bonus - get paid to work with your friends • Training and opportunities for growth • Employee must meet eligibility requirements to enroll in benefits.
