You will have an opportunity to take your expertise and enthusiasm for events, and turn ideas into reality! The Event Manager is responsible for selling and servicing catering events as well as planning and servicing sales groups. Must be effective at selling, both proactively and reactively, the services of the hotel to gain commitment from the client and work well with all departments in the hotel to ensure that services are delivered as communicated to the client. The Event Manager will also host hotel tours for our Remote Sales Manager(s), maintain strong customer relationships and is a liaison between the hotel and the Event Clients. • Interact effectively with all departments within the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive work environment • Onsite to service all events and in-house groups and be available weekends/ holidays.
