Event manager / office assistant needed for a banquet hall

Confidential Houston, Texas

Our facility specializes in producing full-scale events such as Weddings, Quinceañeras, Corporate Meetings and other Special Events. No previous experience necessary -- we will train the right individual. REQUIREMENTS: • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel – and google product (google drive and google sheets) • Ability to learn Zoho CRM software. • Good written and communication skills (English) • Must be able to work flexible hours -- Evenings & Weekends required specially SUNDAYS! RESPONSIBILITIES: • Event Planning and Event management • Communicate with customers, employees and vendors on a regular basis • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls • Assist the office manager and other departments with day-to-day projects and tasks • Work directly with our event planners (i.e. assisting with phone/email follow-ups, giving client tours, typing reports, etc.)
