The role of Event Manager at PSQ Productions is pivotal to the company’s promise of excellence in live event experiences. This full-time position requires a hands-on professional who will act as the central point of contact for vendors, promoters, producers, and internal teams, overseeing every aspect of event logistics from initial planning all the way through to event breakdown. Events under the Event Manager’s supervision range widely in scale and type, including community festivals, concerts, and large-scale productions such as Great Park Live Concerts, Orange County Soccer Club events, and Winter Fest OC. The manager will ensure smooth coordination and flawless execution, covering staffing logistics, vendor compliance, operational and event planning, and on-site management. This role demands a tech-forward individual comfortable using sophisticated event and venue management software, including Momentus and Microsoft 365, as well as possessing exceptional organizational and communication skills. The Event Manager must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet event demands.

The role not only involves managing day-to-day event activities but also requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and creating detailed event documentation including timelines, run-of-show schedules, staffing plans, radio and break plans, and check-in processes. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with various departments such as Production, Marketing, Food and Beverage, Safety, and Security to ensure comprehensive event readiness and resolve any conflicts prior to event day. Acting as the Manager on Duty during events, they will make critical real-time decisions to safeguard the guest experience, maintain safety, adhere to schedules, and protect venue assets. The job also involves directing part-time event staff, coordinating talent and vendor arrivals, managing vendor compliance, supporting staffing partners, tracking equipment, and preparing post-event reports that highlight wins, issues, and corrective actions.

Bachelor's degree in event management, business administration, hospitality, sports management, project management, or related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in event management within stadiums, arenas, public assembly facilities, or hospitality/tourism environments
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Canva, Asana, and DocuSign
Proficiency in Momentus or similar event and venue management software
Experience with vendor coordination and contract management
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience in budget oversight, logistics coordination, and on-site event management preferred
