The Event Manager is responsible for ensuring that anyone who attends, volunteers, or performs at SummerStage events has a positive experience. This includes assisting patrons with questions and ticket sales, interacting with performers/production staff during event set up/tear down, training & overseeing event volunteers, and providing backup support for volunteer positions. Responsibilities • Open the SummerStage venue up to 2 hours prior to event, which includes operating golf cart shuttle, unlocking buildings, and preparing point of sale technology, cash boxes, and programs. • Fielding questions regarding the organization, the venue, and events, both in person and via phone. • Preparing and transmitting event reports, including tracking sales, attendance, & supplies, as needed.
