The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Event & Meeting Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of association meetings, networking events, signature events, and member experiences. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, venues, exhibitors, sponsors, and contractors.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and services while maintaining event budgets.Coordinate sponsor fulfillment and event activation logistics.Manage and execute sponsor communication for events. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.Comfortable working occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends for events.Ability to lift and move event materials up to 40 pounds as needed. This is a full-time position based in Austin, Texas, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
