The Catering and Events Department is responsible for the management of contracted groups and social event food/beverage and meeting room revenues and experiences, room block management, negotiation of supplier services. Demonstrate proficiency in hotel operating systems, Delphi, booking platforms, products, services, and brand standards.Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, problem-solving, and service recovery.Resolve guest concerns, complaints, conflicts, and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.Influence and support sales efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.Analyze operational issues, make sound decisions, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure successful event execution.Ensure exceptional guest service by communicating client expectations to hotel departments and providing guidance, feedback, and coaching when appropriate.Participate in customer site inspections and assist the Sales team throughout the sales and contracting process as needed.Maintain accurate event records, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Group Resumes, meeting room assignments, and client correspondence within Delphi and other hotel management systems.Prepare, review, and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Group Resumes, and other event-related documentation in a timely manner.Conduct pre-conference meetings, planning calls, and pre-event briefings with clients and hotel departments.Coordinate meeting room setups, banquet functions, food and beverage requirements, audiovisual needs, transportation, entertainment, and third-party vendor services.Partner with all hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of meetings, events, and group functions.Monitor event billing, review banquet checks, reconcile final charges, and ensure accurate client invoicing.Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, company policies, safety procedures, and service expectations.Attend and actively participate in required meetings, including but not limited to Credit Meetings, Daily Stand-Up Meetings, Sales Meetings, and Operations Meetings.
