We are looking for a detail-oriented Event Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating event set-up and breakdown, as well as performing janitorial tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work well in a team, and have a flexible schedule to accommodate event needs. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate furniture and event equipment set-up for various events Manage the work order lifecycle, including creating, acknowledging, and closing work orders Ensure event spaces are set up according to capacity and fire code regulations Communicate and respond to event-related requests and inquiries Attend weekly team meetings and provide support as needed Maintain clean and organized event storage and handle event inventory Provide excellent customer service and adhere to event safety standards Assist with janitorial tasks as required Requirements: Availability for a flexible 8-hour shift Monday-Friday to accommodate event schedules Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and experience with work order systems is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use cleaning tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Ability to work well in a team and take direction with minimal supervision ABM Industries
