Responsibilities • Coordinate client requirements for event setup, security, and ticketing • Oversee event operations and manage outside contractors and vendors • Enforce facility rules and HR policies • Interview, hire, and supervise part-time staff for the Event Services Department • Conduct pre-event meetings with staff and ensure proper dress and positioning • Maintain departmental records including applications, reports, and timesheets • Process payroll utilizing ADP eTime • Anticipate and resolve operational problems and complaints • Act as the point person for events, providing updates to clients as necessary Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • 2-3 years of related experience in event coordination or meeting planning, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proven customer/guest service experience • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
