Event Operations Manager

The AC Hotel in Downtown Greenville, is seeking a proactive, detail-driven Event Operations Manager to oversee the execution of events in Seratonic Venue & Lounge and support event operations across the food and beverage outlets of the AC Hotel. This role is hands-on and guest-facing, focused on delivering seamless, high-quality experiences through strategic planning, operational excellence, and strong team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations and logistics for events in Seratonic Venue & LoungeSupport the planning and execution of events in additional outlets such as the hotel bar, restaurant, rooftop, and lobby areasAct as the on-site lead for events, ensuring timing, service flow, and guest experience align with expectationsCollaborate with Sales, Culinary, Banquets, and Front Desk teams to execute detailed event setups per BEOsSupervise event staff including bartenders, servers, and support personnel during serviceCoordinate staffing, setup, floorplans, and breakdown logistics for each eventEnsure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and health & safety policiesMaintain inventory of event supplies and assist with ordering and restockingTrain and coach staff on service standards, product knowledge, and guest engagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients during event executionIdentify areas for improvement and contribute to the continued growth of the venue's event programQualifications:2-4 years of experience in event operations, hospitality management, or high-volume F&B serviceDemonstrated ability to manage a team in a live event settingStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedulesExperience reading and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Familiarity with hotel operations and multi-outlet coordination preferredServSafe and/or alcohol certification a plusAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsWhat We're Looking For:A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environmentsA natural communicator with strong guest service instinctsSomeone who takes ownership, stays composed under pressure, and leads with a solutions-first mindsetA collaborative team player eager to grow with a forward-thinking hospitality teamAuro Hotels is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
