Event Operations Staff

Want real, hands-on experience running live sporting events? Bayou Nation hosts tournaments and events across many sports, from weekend events to week-long summer tournaments. We're looking for motivated people to help run things on-site and, as they grow, take the lead.

This role is a great fit for people studying or working in sports management, event management, facility management or a related field. You don't need to be a current student. If you're organized and like being where the action is, we want to hear from you.

What You'll DoHelp run on-site operations during weekend events and week-long summer tournamentsHandle check-in, field and venue setup, scheduling updates and game-day logisticsBe the go-to person for teams, coaches, parents, officials and vendorsCoordinate with concessions, grounds and facility staff so events run smoothlySolve problems on the spot and keep things on scheduleServe as the on-site administrator during some events, overseeing operations and making decisions
What We're Looking ForA current student or recent grad in sports, event, facility or hospitality management, or anyone with a real interest in the fieldStrong communication skills and a calm, professional presence under pressureOrganized and dependable, and takes initiativeComfortable on your feet for long days, outside and in the heatAvailable on weekends, and ideally for week-long tournament stretches in the summer
Nice to HaveExperience with events, athletics, recreation or customer serviceKnowledge of sports scheduling or tournament softwareLeadership or supervisory experience
