The Community Outreach Lead – Public Lands will guide and implement the use of special events to further the stores goals in community engagement, guide participation and outdoor stewardship. These responsibilities include collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to manage event production, developing relationships with external clients and community partners that will host events on/at the store and coordinating the Public Lands brand activation and participation in local outdoor community events. In addition, the ideal candidate leads with purpose and is committed to ensuring an excellent experience for all explorers who enter the doors. • Partner with the Community Marketing Manager and other External vendor teams to ensure all staff are informed of event details and the potential impacts to explorer, guide and community. • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
